Chiropractor
William E. Perry D.C.
Dr. William E. Perry graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in June 2008. Soon after, he opened Keystone of Health Chiropractic in Eagle, Idaho, along with his wife. After being blessed with their first daughter they moved to Redding, CA to be closer to Dr. Stephanie’s family. There he trained and worked with Dr. Todd Royse in one of the most successful corrective care chiropractic offices on the west coast.
After a standout high school football career, Perry sustained a serious injury during his senior season. He lost all function in his left leg and was told he would likely never get the chance to play football at the collegiate level. Physician prescriptions included drug regimens that saw little progress, and after two weeks of particularly excruciating pain, his mother finally took him to see Dr. Steve Allen, their local chiropractor.
Dr. Allen took a new approach, focusing on structural alignment. 3 weeks and numerous adjustments later, he began to see progress. By the end of first month, he had fully recovered and went on to receive athletic scholarships for both football and track at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. He would later successfully walk-on to Division I powerhouse Penn State University.
Dr. Perry attributes chiropractic care with giving him his life back, and accordingly, he decided to enter the field himself in 2004. After learning about the body’s profound ability to self-regulate, he decided to eliminate the numerous drugs he had used continuously since the injury along with allergy shots, medications and the purple pill in which he was on since 14. Within a year, Perry was completely drug free, needing none of the artificial suppression on which he had so heavily depended.
Dr. Perry practices evidence-based chiropractic care. He is passionate about seeing individuals restored to health and giving Bakersfield Family Chiropractic patients an experience they will never forget. Dr. Perry also believes strongly in giving back to the community. He volunteers regularly within the community, as well as the San Quentin federal prison for their annual health fair.
Dr Perry’s children, Memphis, River and Savannah are the pride and joy of his life. On a typical weekend, you’ll find him hiking, camping with the family, coaching his kids, raising chickens and other animals, or studying up on the latest in chiropractic research and techniques.
